..another week of adventures has gone by. On Monday I headed back to Amsterdam to give back some of the pieces I borrowed for my editorial shoots. I stopped by 'de Bijenkorf' (a high-end department store in Amsterdam) to check out the opening of Topshop. I managed to be one of the first ones in row and got a red wristband to get in. When we were allowed to get in, a massive crowd of people were following each other to the first floor. When we got there it seems so much smaller than I expected. I mean, it's Topshop, shouldn't there be a complete floor for that? I guess not. With all these people in only 150 square meters, it all seemed so small! Which disappointed me in a way. I also couldn't find the big rack of shoes... which is usually the most exciting part of a shop. On Tuesday I had two events in the evening. First of was the #denimonthemove C&A event, which was fun, but the catwalk was questionable. It was creative that they didn't do a traditional catwalk, but I think they wanted too much in the end. There were some models dancing, a hula hoop involved and different models coming in from different directions. After this I went to a great location to attend a blogger event from shoe-brand ECCO. You could do your make-up, have a tea-party, take your photo, read your toes (a women who could read your personality by reading your toes), I had a relaxing massage, and my favorite workshop was making my own leather clutch (a video!). We went home with this beautiful buttery-soft leather bag, which I will show you next week. On Thursday I skipped Vogue's Fashion Night Out, and went to my favorite band Paramore. Old memories started to come back, those teenager years... I loved seeing Hayley Williams on stage again after five/four years. I sang along very loudly, jumped and danced that night. Today I'm wearing my new favorite blouse and jeans. My jeans are similar to Garage jeggings that fit my legs really well. And no shoes today, being the inner hippie that I am (not)..
..Today I'm sleeping in with my hubby, do some groceries, watch a movie together, living the married life. Saturday is usually our day off and we'd like to keep it a day of rest. So, what are you up to today? I'd love to get some tips on how to spend a Saturday..
