..One of the most important things I've learned in life, is to say 'no'. I've always been a 'yes' person and I've always went above and beyond went it came to organizing or preparing stuff for other people. I thought I'd be content if I was to be there for other people, for everyone. Yet I realized it's impossible to be that kind of person. I learned how to take a step back and be content with what I already have. My healthy lifestyle has definitely helped me with that. I make decisions based on what I want and not what somebody else wants. I know this may sound selfish, but this is exactly the kind of thing I need. I don't come from a home full with love and compliments, I always had to prove myself. But I don't want to prove myself, I just want to be me. So the only way I can move forward is to let go. And handle things with a positive attitude. This is exactly what I'm doing now with my life. Taking matters into my own hands and making things possible..
..My parents and sister are on a plane to a tropical island called Bali as we speak. I'm going to miss them. I won't see them until the beginning of December... I'm still bummed I can't be there with them, but I'm also super excited to go on a vacation myself. It's been long overdue! Counting down 16 more days. Australia here I come!!..
